Persons over 18 years of age, whether lay, priest or religious, may join the MIM by associating themselves with an official MIM cenacle which is affiliated with a friary or convent of the Franciscans of the Immaculate. It is also possible for younger persons to join an age appropriate group, but this is generally done in connection with the membership of an adult parent. (Particular information regarding specific locations of MIM cenacles, and meeting dates and times is given at the bottom of this page).

Since every MIM member receives regular and ongoing formation, it is necessary to join the MIM at the beginning of the formation year. (This varies from cenacle to cenacle, so the specific date may be obtained through the contact information at the bottom of this page). It is essential to attend the monthly meetings, and while excused absences are permitted from time to time, only those begin the formation year at the first meeting will be admitted to the formation program. No exceptions will be made. This assures that the formation program will proceed in an organized and progressive way, and that each and every member receives the best formation possible.

One may join the MIM by simply attending the first meeting of the formation year. At that time the Statutes of the MIM will be explained to each attendee, so that he or she can make a more informed discernment about their continued membership. Each new member will be asked to fill out and submit a short application and questionnaire. Applications must be approved in order to continue in the MIM and proceed, if desired, to the different degrees of membership.

The following schedule information is specifically for the MIM cenacle attached to the Marian Friary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Griswold, Connecticut, but the contact information for other friaries where there are MIM cenacles are provide below as well.
