As an ardent traditionalist…. Rome should’ve done this long ago. The venture had about as much chance of succeeding as bringing in Rowan Williams. Any deal that relies on securing Bishop Richard Williamson to practice humility and obedience was doomed from the start.
I think there’s a high chance (as in above 90%) we see what is behind door number 2.
