Thank you so much, for the third installment on “The Secret of The Templars/The Holy Grail. for many years now, I have been practicing my vocation which I refer to as “Grail Knighthood.” I truly believe that the “True Secret of The Holy Grail” can be found in “The Two Great Commandments” – which are “Love of God & Love of Neighbor.” In other words, what has been called “The Golden Rule.”
These two “Great Commandments” go all the way bacto to the Old Testament, in the books of Leviticus & Deuteronomy, which were written more than 1400 years before the Birth of Christ. They pre-date Chivalry, as we have come to know it by at least 2,500 years. If only the world would live by these “Commandments” – I believe that 95 to 99 percent of the world problems could be rapidly solved. Unfortunately, this “Secret” has been hidden from most people as they search for complicated solutions to our problems. As long as they do this…..The Grail will remain hidden.
The video mentions an early version of the Grail legend (if that’s the right term) compiled by a Cistercian monk; Fr. Angelo describes this as the most Christian version of the story. Anyone know the name of this account, or if there is an English translation a person could find and read?
The translator, Pauline Matarasso, has also written a book about the The Quest of the Holy Grail, called The Redemption of Chivalry, a rather technical but enlightening work, out of print and hard to find.
