England is rich in public footpaths. Right of way is granted by law in many places for people to walk across, not only public land, but also private pastures. Use is restricted to the paths only, but the journeys and the sites are incredible. This one is right out of the Lord of the Rings. Access to this path is only a couple minutes away from Lanherne Convent. In some places the cutting through the hedge is pretty much a tunnel.
There’s a sort of bramble thatch out in the woods a few minutes from my house. During the summer it makes an awesome tunnel.
