The Da Vinci Code?

No, that’s not Mary Magdalen on the left. That’s not an “M” formed by the torsos of Our Lord and St. John. And that’s not the focal point of the painting. But what the heck? Wasn’t the whole thing a barrel of laughs?

The big secret hidden in Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper is that he was not a heretic. “A new figure emerges.” I am bowled over. Dan Brown and his adoring fans are certain to be in mourning today.

Pala stressed that his discovery does not reveal any supposed dark secrets of the Catholic Church or of Leonardo, but instead shows the artist in a light far removed from the conspiratorial descriptions found in fiction.

“A new figure emerges — he wasn’t a heretic like some believe,” Pala said. “What emerges is a man who believes, a man who really believes in God.”

  1. Father,

    How are you?

LOL…..to your list, you may have to add the contrasting and opposite colors indicating the ying-yang relationship between Jesus and the alleged Mary Magdalene.

But, you are right…Brown, Baigent, and Lincoln among other may have to soon publish revisions to their works.
